MoGfx is shorthand for Motion Graphics. Motion graphics is a term used to describe graphics that use video and/or animation technology to create the illusion of motion or a transforming appearance. These animations are usually combined with audio for use in multimedia projects.

MoGfx Design was formed by Dave Martinez, a veteran of the television industry with 16 years of experience. Over the 16 years Dave has worked in various areas of the broadcast industry, including live production, linear & non-linear post-production, videographer, electronic graphics, print, web, motion graphics & 3D animation. Dave served as Art Director for WSB-TV in Atlanta for over 8 years, and was instrumental in the transition to High Definition, designing and implementing an efficient work environment built around an Xsan and Apple workstations running the latest in motion graphics applications.

Dave is also an accomplished photographer preferring athletic portraiture and sports photography. During his free time, he trains and competes in local triathlons, 10k's, half marathons and is a member of the Atlanta Triathlon Club. He also donates his time and photographic services to the Atlanta Track Club.
